Phenomenal tour finale. Wow. Just … wow. I barely knew or recognized half of the songs played this night. “Buffalo Bill,” “Sugar Shack” and, apparently a thing, “Meatstick,” were all welcome surprises for me. And some of my old favorites — “Back On The Train” and “Also Sprach Zarathustra” included — showed up in peak form. As with most Phish shows I’ve attended, you didn’t need to be a card-carrying fan to enjoy the mind-boggling work onstage. Everything’s so expertly played to such an adoring crowd that it’s hard not to get caught up in it all.
